Evaporative Cooling for Energy Efficient Cooling of Buildings and people
FIND OUT MORE AT THE ENERGY SOLUTIONS EXPO -
when our Managing Director will deliver two seminars as detailed below .....
Wednesday 8th October, 16.00-16.30 - case study Seminar Theatre - "Evaporative Cooling - An opportunity to reduce air conditioning costs by up to 90%"
A brief explanation of the principle of evaporative cooling will be followed by practical examples of installations in various sectors and different building types. The savings achieved, both in operating cost and carbon impact, will be demonstrated. Case studies will include schools, offices, manufacturing, logistics, IT server rooms and leisure. These case studies will highlight recent technological developments which have made this possible. An update on legionnaires’ disease risk management will be included in the case study of the application of evaporative cooling in a UK NHS hospital trust. The seminar will also highlight where it is inappropriate to use evaporative cooling
Thursday 9th October 2008, 11.00 - 1130 - CPD Seminar Theatre - "Evaporative Cooling: Latest Design Techniques & their Application in Commercial & Industrial Premises".

The EcoCooling range of evaporative coolers, offer a completely natural way of producing refreshing cool air. Our Evaporative cooling units have been specifically designed for the cooling of industrial and commercial buildings and can give an amazing 35KW of cooling for every 1.5KW of electricity consumed. Take a look at our Evaporative Cooling Performance charts to see just how cool Evaporative Cooling can be.
The EcoCooling range is the only evaporative cooler designed specifically to take into account European health and safety regulations.
How does it WorkEvaporative heat exchanging takes advantage of the principles of latent heat of evaporation where tremendous heat is exchanged when water evaporates. It makes use of the free latent energy in the atmosphere. Compared to air-conditioning which uses mechanical refrigeration, evaporative heat exchanging operating cost are 90% LESS than air-conditioning.

Additional Benefits
A Reduction in temperature in the work place creates the obvious benefits of improved staff morale, increased productivity and a reduction in absenteeism: evaporative cooling can provide additional benefits
- An Environmentally safe solution - evaporation is a natural process and requires no refrigerants.
- Eliminates odours and stale air instead of re-circulating them.
- Money saving - running costs up to 90% less than an equivalent refrigeration system
- doors and windows can remain open with no detremental effect on the efficiency or operating cost.
- Saves up to 10,000kg of carbon per year compared to an equivalent air conditioning system
- Provides a natural environment and improves air quality

Our Mission

Health & Safety
EcoCooling take health and safety of our products very seriously and for this reason the best health and safety practices have been incorporated into the EcoCooler design. From electrical and guarding standards through to Legionnaires disease control. An independent risk assessment, produced by an industry expert, is available which explains how an EcoCooler provides low risk operation.
